- The two kinds of wisdom; there are various pairs. The Huayan school uses [lang id =1028]如理智 and [lang id =1028]如量智; the Faxiang ([lang id =1028]法相) uses [lang id =1028]根本智 and [lang id =1028]後得智; the Tiantai uses [lang id =1028]權智 and [lang id =1028]實智.(1) (a) [lang id =1028]如理智 or [lang id =1028]根本智, [lang id =1028]無分別智, [lang id =1028]正體智, [lang id =1028]真智, [lang id =1028]實智 is Buddha-wisdom, or Bodhisattva real wisdom; (b) [lang id =1028]如量智 or [lang id =1028]後得智, the same wisdom in its limitation and relation to ordinary human affairs.(2) (a) [lang id =1028]實智 Absolute wisdom and (b) [lang id =1028]權智 or [lang id =1028]方便智 | relative or temporal wisdom.(3) (a) [lang id =1028]一切智 wisdom of the all, (b) [lang id =1028]一切種智 wisdom of all the particulars.
